Web Application Developer- Quebec City

The Web application developer is responsible for Web applications development tasks, including design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation support.

Role:
The developer documents the technical specifications for a given project, and designs and develops software modules according to technical specifications, database models and use case scenarios. He must also document the developed modules and assure the quality of the software. In addition, the developer must provide technical evaluations related to the effort and time estimates of tasks during the analysis phase of a project, establish and respect work schedules. The application developer might have to write functional reports and document the developed application.

Minimum Qualifications

  • University Degree or D.E.C. in Computer Science
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Computer Science
    • 1 year experience with Visual Studio .NET : C+, VB.NET, ASP.NET ; and/or
    • 1 year experience in ASP development (HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, XML) ; and/or
    • 2 years of experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, JBuilder
  • 2 years of practical experience in Web application projects
  • Good team player
  • Bilingual (an asset)
