Functional Analyst - Quebec City

The functional analyst is involved in Web applications development mandates. He will work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to this task. The analyst will be responsible for organizing, structuring and managing information so that it is clear, coherent, accessible, and of quality for it answers users' various needs.

Role:
The functional analyst has to analyse the various strategies available and also contribute to define Web and e-commerce solutions. The functional analyst has to understand the environment and business needs of the clients to build the functional file of the project (interface, functionality and data model). This is done respecting the standards of the client, in concert with the needs of the designate users. The analyst has to show the functional file to the programmer responsible of the realisation and give support during the development. He has to achieve the functional tests (test domains, user’s case) and write reports of the tests.

Minimum Qualifications

University Degree or D.E.C. in Computer Science
6 to 10 years of experience in Computer Science
2 to 5 years of experience in functional analysis
2 years of practical experience as functional analyst in Web development projects
Good knowledge of analysis method and Web applications modelling
Good knowledge of Microsoft, Oracle or Java tools
Very good at organizing his work
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual (an asset)
